Taking place December 3-4, 2023 at the Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, Florida, the first annual Payne Stewart Invitational will combine competition and charity in honor of 3-time major winner and 11-time PGA Tour winner Payne Stewart.
In honor of Payne Stewart’s legacy, and the generosity and work of the Payne Stewart Kids Golf Foundation, the tournament will feature PGA player recipients of the Payne Stewart Award, presented annually by Southern Company, competing alongside fellow stars from the PGA Tour, PGA TOUR Champions, LPGA, and A-list celebrity participants.
On the cusp of 2024’s 25th anniversary of his historic U.S. Open win at Pinehurst, the Payne Stewart Invitational will carry on Payne’s indelible legacy to support a noble cause.
Format
The Payne Stewart Invitational will be a Pro/Celebrity/Amateur format. Teams will consist of 4 amateurs and one pro or celebrity, with teams picking their pro/celebrity at the Draw Party draft.
Competition
Teams will be scored on Low Net and Low Gross score per team per hole. A Low Net and Low Gross champion will be awarded.
